It's no secret to my family and friends that I love damask!! My sister even got me the cutest Halloween kitchen towel. It was white with a cute black ghost damask print.

So when I had a recent request to make a clutch from this print I couldn't wait to get started! It a lovely feminine damask in black and white. This will be great for summer accessorizing. Black and white are the "in" color combination for summer fashion. Let me know when you are ready to order!

I have to thank my sweet customer Pam for requesting this custom designed clutch. It is made from ivory bridal satin and lined with satin taffeta in dusty rose.  I made the flower with the same rose fabric. It's gathered into a generous ruffle and turned in a flower shape. I then hand stitched it together through the bottom and sewed it to a brooch pin. I love the way this flower turned out. It's like a pile of ruffled goodness just sitting on the flap.  Such a little detail that, that adds so much flair!

New!! Linen Clutch!

Another new style this week! Gathers and tucks and a handmade flower.  This little purse is made from the prettiest tan linen and is lined with ivory cotton fabric with tan polka dots. This will be beautiful with any flower color. I think it will be best to make it from solid color fabrics, just so the gathers and tucks show up. Can't wait to make another one!

We have a wedding coming up in the family!

Awwww...my youngest sister and her fiance! I can't wait for this wedding. So sweet! He made a big heart out of snow and placed lit candles around the heart. I think it's going to be a 2014 wedding, but if they want to make it sooner, that would be great too! Since she has that beautiful red hair, wouldn't emerald green that is so "in" for this year look soooo good? I guess I'll just have to wait and see what the color plan will be. 2014 may bring something completely different!
